It has been established in the principles we propose here that educators and students are active thinkers who act upon their worlds through dialogue and critical consciousness. Because teachers and students recognize their human, social, and historical condition can be changed, they reassert Freire’s knowledge that (There is no teaching without) “awareness of our unfinishedness” (1998/2001, p. 51).
